The research of shale-gas has been carried out of many years in China, and the geophysical tech-nology of shale-gas prediction and evaluation has been gradually improved. Through several years of technical research and exploration & development practice, a complete system of geophysical technology is set up, including: seismic data garget fine processing, shale gas logging comprehensive evaluation and reservoir characteristics analysis, structural and seismic stratigraphic interpretation, geophysical inversion and target prediction, shale fracture prediction, gas detection, shale preservation conditions analysis. Through the application of some technologies in the shale gas exploration and development of Longmaxi formation in south Sichuan, the important role of shale gas geophysical technology is demonstrated.
